William M.'Budy' Giles Sr.

William M. "Buddy" Giles Sr., 75, of Huntignton, IN, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at 8 a.m. at his home.
Mr. Giles graduated in 1956 from Bath County High School and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Emmanuel College, in Virginia. He was a minister in Virginia for 20 years before moving to Huntington. He managed a Bonded service station for 15 years and was the former owner of the Antiques and Not store, both in Huntington.
He was born Jan. 10, 1938, in Hot Springs, VA, to LeRoy and Lina Rodgers Giles. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Giles.
Survivors include two sons, William Giles Jr., of Huntington, and Steven W. Giles, of Covington, VA; a daughter, Ladonna A. Knight, of Covington, VA; a brother, LeRoy Giles Jr., of Wood Bridge, VA; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Monday, July 15, 2013, at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Huntington, with Rev. Jeff Carrell officiating.
