Jeanette M. Lee, 78, of rural Warren in Wells County, IN, died Monday, July 22, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. at her home.
Mrs. Lee graduated from Jefferson Township High School in 1953. She had worked at Gene's Market, in Warren, and owned and operated Jeanette's Dress Shop for many years. She also worked on the family farm. She was a member of the Dillman Church of the United Brethren in Christ.
She was born May 7, 1935, in Huntington to George and LaRuey King Thorne. She married Charles Lee on June 26, 1953, at the Dillman Church of the United Brethren in Christ. Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a niece, Ann Arnold, of Huntington; a nephew, Gary (Janie) Schweikhardt, of Warren; and several other nieces and nephews.
Calling is Friday, July 26, 2013, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Dick Case will officiate.
