Henry "Hank" Lahr Jr., 75, of Huntington, died Thursday, July 25, 2013, at 2:44 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital.
Mr. Lahr was a 1957 graduate of Huntington Township High School. He worked at Zollner-Pistons in Fort Wayne for 10 years and owned and operated J&L Sawmill for 10 years. He retired from Manchester Tool & Die.
He was born Mar. 10, 1938, in Huntington, to Henry M. and Elizabeth Mae Warfel Lahr. He married Rebecca J. Phillips on May 19, 1957, in Huntington. She survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Vince M. Lahr, of Huntington; two daughters, Rachelle (Rod) Hempel, of Maryland, and Lisa Baum, of Delaware; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Tuesday, July 30, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, with a memorial service following.
