Sister Mary J. Miller

Sister Mary Josephine Miller, 96, a resident of Victory Noll, in Huntington, IN, died Sunday, July 28, 2013, at 9:55 p.m. at Holy Family Health Care Center, Victory Noll.
Sister Miller entered the congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on Feb. 9, 1935, and made her first vows on March 25, 1938. She ministered in the states of Kentucky, Texas, New Jersey, Utah, California, Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. She returned to Holy Family Health Care Center in 2005.
She was born Oct. 27, 1916, in Detroit, MI, to Joseph A. and Elsie Wendland Miller.
Survivors include a brother, Jack F. Miller, of Detroit, MI; and a sister, Margaret Dayner, of San Jose, CA.
A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at 7 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at the Victory Noll Chapel, 1900 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to Mass. Rev. Thomas Fahey will officiate. Burial will be at Victory Noll Cemetery.
