Jack E. Richardson, 86, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Richardson retired in 1955 from Corning Glass Company, in Bluffton, after 10 years of service. He had also worked at The Salvation Army. He attended the Disciples of Christ Church in Huntington. He was a 1943 graduate of Markle High School.
He was born March 7, 1927, in Huntington County to McBride and Goldie Earhart Richardson.
He is survived by a sister, Wilma Botts, of Markle.
Calling is Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, from 10 a.m. to noon, with a service following at noon, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Major Gerald Smelser will officiate. Burial will be at Markle Cemetery, Markle.
Memorial gifts may be made to the LaFontaine Center or The Salvation Army, both in Huntington, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary.
