Dennis D. Wymer

Dennis Dale Wymer, 63, of Kendallville, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Wymer graduated from East Noble High School in 1968 and served in the United States Naval Reserves. He had worked at Business Service Company in Kendallville, at Uniform Printing for 26 years and at Courier Printing for five years.

He was a long-time member of Moose Lodge 1301, in Kendallville, holding all lodge offices and earning the highest honor, Pilgrim of the Moose degree, in 1988. He was also active in the state and district levels of the Moose Lodge. He was a member of American Legion Post 86, in Kendallville, and had donated many gallons of blood to the American Red Cross.

He was born May 2, 1950, in Kendallville to Charles Edward and Esther Lucille Aukerman Wymer.

Survivors include three sisters, Ruth Austin, of Fort Wayne; Pat (Robert) Easterday, of Kendallville; and Nancy (Robert) Myers, of Cortland, OH; and three brothers, Charles "Chuck" (Gloria) Wymer, of Churubusco; Richard (Sharon) Wymer, of Huntington; and Gary (Carol) Wymer, of Avilla.

Calling is Monday, Aug 12, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a Moose Lodge service at 8 p.m., at Hite Funeral Home, in Kendallville. A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour before the service. Rev. Thomas Clothier will officiate.
