Jean Louise Bartrom, 91, of Huntington, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Oakbrook Village.
Mrs. Bartrom had worked for Art Chemical for five years and at Memcor for 10 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntington.
She was born Sept. 16, 1921, in Wabash County to Homer and Freda Grimm Baumbauer. She married Boniface M. Bartrom on June 30, 1938, at St. Paul of the Cross Church, in Columbia City. Her husband preceded her in death on May 19, 1990.
Survivors include two sons, James Michael Bartrom and Thomas Marcellus Bartrom, both of Huntington; a daughter, Sharon (Jerry) Allred, of Huntington; a brother, Homer George Baumbauer, of Florida; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, with Rev. John Pfister officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington.
Memorial gifts may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church.
