Mark Joseph Perkins, 59, of Fort Wayne, IN, and formerly of Huntington County, IN, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013.
Mr. Perkins worked at Lehman Electronics in Fort Wayne for 28 years, where he served as a vice president and sales manager after graduating from Huntington North High School. He also completed coursework towards a psychology/history degree at Indiana University.
He was born in Indianapolis on June 25, 1954, to Armond L. and Suzanne Gasper Perkins. He married Patricia M. Perkins 23 years ago, and she survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Melissa (David Shields) Perkins, Jasmine (Jason) Harris and Karen (Craig) DiIanni; a son, Brock (Carol) Rauch, a brother Michael V. (Jan) Perkins, of Huntington; and four grandchildren, Avery Rauch, Keira Rauch, Lindsay Apple and Cortni Hedden.
A gathering of friends will be Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, from noon to 2 p.m. at Avalon Missionary Church in the Family Life Center, 1500 Lower Huntington Rd., Fort Wayne. A memorial service will be Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the church. Rev. Keith Koteskey of Avalon Missionary Church will officiate.
Preferred memorials are to American Diabetes Association and Avalon Missionary Church.
