Margaret A. Hensel, 82, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at 2:20 p.m. at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Mrs. Hensel graduated from Huntington High School in 1949. She had been employed by Wabash Magnetics, in Huntington, for 29 years before her retirement. She was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter 255, in Huntington.
She was born April 18, 1931, in Huntington to Roscoe and Irene Ahlswede Spath. She married Jerry A. Hensel on March 22, 1952. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Anthony H. (Jan) Hensel, of Huntington; a brother, Robert Spath, of Fort Wayne; a sister, Marge Murray, of Roanoke; three grandsons, Tyler Hensel, of Fort Wayne; Dru (Chelsea) Hensel, of Mt. Etna; and Cole (Kimberly) Hensel, of Syracuse; and three great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours. The family will hold a private service at a later date.
