Barbara J. Lee Tapp, 79, of Roanoke, IN, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, in Fort Wayne.
She was born Sept. 10, 1933, in Munising, MI, to Walter and Edna Miller. She married Calvin Lee, and he preceded her in death. She later married Phillip Tapp, and he also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Tapp most recently attended Emmanuel Community Church. She made lap quilts, which she donated to various nursing homes.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Julie) Lee and Robert E. (Vicki) Lee, both of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Cheryl (Tom) Crickmore, of Columbia City; Cynthia (Dave) Goheen, of Fort Wayne; and Lauri (Daun) Spurgeon, of Roanoke; three sisters, Tillie (Clyde) France, of Midland, MI; Judy Midyett, of Tonto Basin, AZ; and Dawn (Dale) Nelson, of St. Ignace, MI; a brother, Walt Miller of Tucson, AZ; 22 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
A service was held Sept. 1, 2013, at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, with Rev. Ron Ramsey officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
