Sister Martha Wordeman

Sister Martha Wordeman, 89, a resident of Victory Noll, in Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at Holy Family Health Care Center, at Victory Noll.
Sister Wordeman entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on Oct. 27, 1944, and made her first vows on Aug. 5, 1947. She served in missions in Colorado, Indiana, Missouri, Michigan, Texas, Massachusetts, Tennessee, West Virginia and Kentucky. She retired to Victory Noll in 2003 to continue her writing.
She was born May 24, 1924, in Bellevue, KY, to Albert and Aurelia Stolle Wordeman.
A vigil service will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at 7 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Victory Noll Memorial Chapel, 1900 W. Park Drive, Huntington, IN 46750. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in the chapel on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to Mass. Rev. Thomas Fahey will preside. Burial will be at Victory Noll Cemetery.
