C. Wayne Shuff

C. Wayne Shuff, 85, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Shuff was employed by General Motors Fisher Body, in Marion, for 37 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Peter's First Community Church, of Huntington, and a 50-year member of Amity Masonic Lodge 483, York Rite Chapter 27.
He was born in Huntington to Bennie and Lucille Shuff. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Frances Shuff.
Additional survivors include four daughters, Connie Tahtinen and Kelly Tahtinen, both of Atlanta, GA; Beth (Derek) Singer, of Indianapolis; and Brett (James Roberson) Shuff, of Fort Wayne; a son, Kent (Steve Fennimore) Shuff, of Muncie; six grandchildren, Todd Tahtinen, Gunnar Tahtinen III and Alexis Arden Tahtinen, all of Atlanta, GA; Heather Tahtinen, of San Francisco, CA; and Lauren Roberson and Adrienne Roberson, both of Fort Wayne; and a great-granddaughter.
Calling is Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m., at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne. A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Richard Strick officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
