Jeffery A. DeHaven, 57, of Warren, IN, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at 5:56 p.m.
Mr. DeHaven graduated from Huntington North High School in 1974 and worked at PHD for 32 years. He was a volunteer coach for all recreational league sports in Warren.
He was born Feb. 15, 1956, in Huntington County to Howard L. and Donna J. Wardwell DeHaven. His parents survive in Warren. He married Jill Carroll on June 6, 1981, in Huntington. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Matthew DeHaven, of Warren; a daughter, Crystal (Jason) Nightenhelser, of Warren; two sisters, Gloria (Mike) Surfus, of Warren, and Sherry (John) Hanley, of Fort Wayne; his mother-in-law, Emily J. Carroll, of Huntington; and five grandchildren.
Calling is Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. No service is planned.
Memorial gifts may be made to PAL Football, Rainbow Lanes Youth Bowling League or Oak Lanes Youth Bowling League in care of Myers Funeral Home.
