Mary L. Wilkerson, 88, a resident of rural Warren, IN, in Wells County, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at 1:40 p.m. at her home.
Mrs. Wilkerson attended SS. Peter and Paul School (now Huntington Catholic School), in Huntington. She worked at Wabash Magnetics for 15 years, retiring in 1986.
She was born Feb. 15, 1925, in Huntington County to Clarence and Clara Krumanaker Rochelle. She married Robert "Bob" Wilkerson on June 25, 1948, in Peru. Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Zedra Miller, of Huntington County, and Dalaine (Ronald) Warner, of Wells County; three sons, Randy (Lana) Wilkerson, of Blackford County; Taryl Wilkerson, of Huntington County; and Dault Wilkerson, of Wells County; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Larry Harvey will officiate. Interment will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
