Emery Clyde Smyth, 83, of Warren, IN, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013.
Mr. Smyth served with the United States Army during the Korean War in the security field and continued working in that field after the war while living in San Diego, CA. He graduated from Warren High School and attended Purdue University, earning a degree in the business field.
He was born in 1930 in Detroit, MI, to Clyde and Maud Smyth.
He is survived by a sister, Vesta Fay Anderson, and a brother-in-law, Forrest Anderson.
A service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at the Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. Rev. Scott Nedburg will officiate. Interment will be at the Masonic Cemetery, in Warren.
