James Dwight Bell, 76, of Warren, IN, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at 8:40 p.m. at his residence.
Mr. Bell graduated from Jackson Center High School in 1955. He worked at International Harvester for 31 years, retiring in 1986, and also worked for Wayne Metal Products in Markle for 13 years before retiring in 2001. He was a Boy Scout troop master for several years and was also a member of the Salamonie Campers.
He was born Aug. 8, 1937, in Hartford City to James Carl and Audrey Lucille Sills Bell.
Survivors include two sons, Rick (Tina) Bell, of Huntington, and Ronald Dwight (Christie) Bell, of Warren; two daughters, Donna Kay Beavans, of Bluffton, and Rhonda Diane (Ron) Poulson, of Warren; two brothers, Nelson Dean Bell, of Andrews, and Sherrell Lee Bell, Columbia City; a sister, Shirley Ann Wentz, of Hartford City; six grandchildren, Tavis Beavans, of Bluffton; Jasmine Bell and Lukas Kaylor, both of Huntington; Ryan Bell and Jared Poulson, both of Warren; and Amanda Seibold, of Indianapolis; one great-grandchild; and his former wife, Joyce A. (Long) Buck, of Celina, TN.
Calling is Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren, and for one hour prior to the service Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at 3 p.m., at the funeral home. Rev. Dewey Zent and Rev. David Parker will officiate. Interment will follow in the Jones Cemetery in Warren.
