Burdell M. 'Red' Stahl

Burdell M. "Red" Stahl, 94, of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at 1:15 p.m. at The Heritage of Huntington.
Mr. Stahl served in the United Sates Air Force during World War II as a staff sergeant and head mechanic on aircrafts. He had worked at Schenkel's Dairy for more than 30 years and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2689, Huntington.
He was born March 12, 1919, in Huntington to Fred and Genevieve DeVoe Stahl. He married Mary E. Metzger on Oct. 4, 1940, in Huntington. His wife preceded him in death on July 7, 1999.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law Joyce Stahl, of Huntington; a brother, Niles (Dora) Stahl of Huntington; and a sister, Lynette Thorn, of Huntington.
Calling is Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, from 10 a.m. to noon, with a service following at noon, at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. Interment will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
