John R. Berry Jr.

John R. Berry Jr., 84, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Berry, a former resident of Indianapolis, managed the Tee Pee Restaurant for more than 20 years. He and his wife later owned Berry's Concessions at the Indiana State Fairgrounds for 30 years. He had also worked at The Production Company.

He was the son of John R. Berry and Myrle Hacker Stanley. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Johnson Berry.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Beth (Jeffrey) Dockins and Katherine (Richard) Spencer; a son, John R. Berry III; eight grandchildren, Maxwell Dockins, Oliver Dockins, Annabelle Dockins, Colin Spencer, Chloe Spencer, John Berry IV, Matthew Berry and Megan (Chris) Berry King Wright; and four great-grandchildren.

Burial was at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, in Greenwood. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Building at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
