Virginia R. Miller

Virginia R. Miller, 90, of Bluffton, IN, and having family members in Markle, IN, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at 9:25 p.m. at Kindred Health & Rehabilitation Center-Meadowvale.
Mrs. Miller was a 1941 graduate of Bucyrus High School. She was a certified nursing assistant and worked in the home health care field for many years. She was a former member of the Women's Auxiliary to American Legion Post 111.
She was born June 22, 1923, in Bucyrus, OH, to Aaron C. and Nellie A. Williams Staiger. She married Alfred F. Miller on Nov. 19, 1966, in Uniondale. Her husband preceded her in death on July 25, 1994.
Survivors include two sons, Harold L. Staiger, of Sycamore, OH, and Larry (Rhonda) Staiger, of Haughton, LA; a daughter-in-law, Becky S. Engle, of Bluffton; four stepdaughters, Linda Cash, of Odessa, TX; Brenda Nunley, of Markle; Sherry Refice, of Bedford, TX; and Rita Atherton, of Culleoka, TN; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; 12 stepgrandchildren; 13 stepgreat-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, in Bluffton.
Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, Bluffton, is in charge of arrangements.
