Phyllis Wetters, 91, of Worthington, OH, and a native of Huntington County, IN, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at her home.
Mrs. Wetters was employed as a cafeteria aide in the Worthington Public Schools, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Worthington United Methodist Church and the Deborah Circle.
She was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Lancaster Township, Huntington County. She married George W. Wetters, and he preceded her in death in 1990 after 47 years of marriage.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Wetters, of Worthington, OH; Diane (Hale) Whipkey, of Westerville, OH; and Barbara Wetters, of Williamsburg, VA; and two grandchildren, Rachel Whipkey and Evan Whipkey.
A service was held on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at the Worthington United Methodist Church. A graveside service was held on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Worthington United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, Worthington, OH, was in charge of arrangements.
