Nam Im "Lee" Beck, 67, of Huntington, Ind., died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at 2:52 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Beck had been employed in production at Magnetek for 13 years and had also worked in food service at Huntington University. She attended Emmanuel Community Church, in Fort Wayne, and the Korean Congregation at First Presbyterian Church, in Muncie.
She was born Dec. 27, 1945, in Pusan, South Korea, to Pak Sun Yi. She married Phillip J. Beck on March 20, 1971, in Huntington, and he survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Polly J. (Joe Franzen) Beck and Heather J. (Brian Watts) Beck, both of Denver, Colo.; a son, Andrew J. (Julie) Beck, of Roanoke; two brothers; two sisters; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Max R. and Clara E. Beck, of Huntington; and five grandchildren, Carissa Beck, Clara Beck and William Beck, all of Roanoke, and Lola Franzen and Jae Yoon Franzen, both of Denver, Colo.
Calling is Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A service will be held at the mortuary on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Bob Bruce officiating. Burial will be at Beech Grove Cemetery, Huntington County.
