James Jay Holley, 73, of Huntington, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at 8:30 a.m. at his home.
Mr. Holley retired from IMCO after working in maintenance there for 25 years. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington.
He was born March 27, 1940, in Huntington to Curtis and Cecelia Kiefer Holley. He married Juanita V. Bowers on March 10, 1957, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 30, 1998.
Survivors include two sons, James B. Holley and Tracy W. (Michelle) Holley, both of Huntington; four daughters, Darlene A. Brogan, Elizabeth J. "Joanie" (William) Rudy, Angela M. (William V. McDaniel) Holley and Kelly J. Holley, all of Huntington; two brothers, Richard Holley, of Columbia City, and Mark Holley, of Boise, ID; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Calling is Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, a 10 a.m. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington.
