Walker Music, 72, of rural Andrews, IN, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at 4:20 p.m. at his home.
Mr. Music was a member of and preacher at the Wabash Chapel Church of God.
He was born Jan. 19, 1941, in Johnson County, KY, to Shade and Alice Staniford Music. He married Rose Mollett on July 3, 1962, in Paintsville, KY. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Mary "Ebbie" (David) Turner, of Andrews; two sons, Walker Allen "Bo" (Chantaye) Music, of Paintsville, KY, and David L. (Susan) Music, of Centerville, TN; two brothers, Shade (Sally) Music, of Wabash, and Ray (Peggy) Music, of North Manchester; three sisters, Dorothy (John) Shepherd, Dixie Ward and Edith (James) Fletcher, all of Wabash; a sister-in-law, Virginia Music, of Paintsville, KY; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A service was held on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash, with Rev. Ralph Johnson officiating. Burial was at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, in Wabash.
