Rex G. Yoder, 85, of Amarillo, TX, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013.
Mr. Yoder served in the United States Air Force and earned a business degree from West Texas State University in 1963. He worked in accounting and computers for the cattle industry. He attended the First Presbyterian Church.
He was born Aug. 5, 1928, in Huntington to Wendell Roy and Inez Marie Yoder. He married Betty J. Ratliff on Nov. 25, 1982, in Amarillo, TX, and she preceded him in death.
Survivors include five daughters, Tam Lance, Stephanie Yoder, Leslie Thorne and Vicki Brown, all of Amarillo, TX, and Connie Wooton, of Canyon, TX; a brother, Larry Dean Yoder, of Peru; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Llano Cemetery, with Lyn Rector officiating.
