Carla Jean Ley, 50, of Kaysville, UT, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, in Centerville, UT.
Mrs. Ley traveled around the world as an Air Force wife, retiring to Florida and moving to Utah seven years ago.
She was born Oct. 5, 1963, in Huntington to Thomas and Ruth Ann Nicholson. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Ley.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Amanda Ley, of Utah; a son, Samuel Ley, of Utah; three sisters, Cheryl Hickey, of Fort Wayne; Debra Rosen, of Huntington; and Kim Kyle, of Austin, TX; and a brother, Tom Nicholson, of Huntington.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Oct. 19, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, in Kaysville, UT. A private funeral was held on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation.
Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, in Bountiful, UT, was in charge of arrangements.
