Michael W. Berry Sr.

Michael Wayne Berry Sr., 54, of Wabash, IN, and having family members in Andrews, IN, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at 3:20 p.m. at his home.

Mr. Berry worked in the foundry at Ford Meter Box, in Wabash. He was a member of the Southside Freewill Baptist Church and attended the Church of God on Mill Street, both in Wabash.

He was born Feb. 10, 1959, in Wabash to Mitchell and Eva Trusty Berry. He married Janice Shoemaker on Nov. 7, 1980, in Wabash, and she survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Michael W. (Spencer) Berry Jr., of Wabash; a daughter, Kayla (Donald) Black, of Wabash; a brother, Tom Berry, of Andrews; two brothers-in-law, Michael Shoemaker and Pat (Carol) Shoemaker, both of Wabash; and four grandchildren, Michael Ethan Berry, Kaden Nicholas Berry, Hailey Nichole Berry and Eona Anne Black, all of Wabash.

Calling is Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. A service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Charlie Easterday and Rev. Troy Trusty officiating. Burial will be at Falls Cemetery, in Wabash.
