Ruth Stockman Stark, 95, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a native of Markle, IN, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at 11:40 a.m. at Woodview Assisted Living Facility, in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Stark was a homemaker for most of her life and had also worked at the Markle Medical Center. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, in Fort Wayne.
She was born May 27, 1918 in Markle to Sylvester and Rose Lesh. Her first marriage was on May 10, 1941, in Hattiesburg, MS, to Owen G. Stockman, who preceded her in death in 1969. Her second marriage was in 1975 in Sarasota, FL, to J. Howard Stark, who preceded her in death in 1989.
Survivors include two daughters, Judith (Ron) Allred and Deborah Stockman, both of Fort Wayne; a sister, Maxine Spaid, of Bluffton; a granddaughter, Kelly (David) Mikesell, of Carmel; and a great-grandson.
Calling is Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., with a service following at 2 p.m., at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee St., Markle. Rev. Steve McPeek will officiate.
