Judith A. Wuensch

Judith Ann Wuensch, 69, of Wabash, IN, and having family members in Huntington County, IN, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at 7:25 a.m. at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Wuensch was a 1958 graduate of Lagro High School. She was a homemaker and had worked seven years at the Huntington County Jail as a secretary to Sheriff Howard Tomson. She was a member of the Church of Our Glorious King in Huntington.

She was born July 5, 1940, in Wabash to Arthur and Madge Norwood Rehak. She married Hans Dieter Wuensch on Nov. 3, 1961, in Marion. Her husband preceded her in death on April 11, 1999.

Survivors include three sons, Robert "Tony" Wuensch, of Lagro; Tim Wuensch, of Huntington; and Tom (Tracy) Wuensch, of Andrews; a brother, Michael (Ann) Rehak, of Lagro; a sister, Rita (David) Mueller, of Dyer; eight grandchildren, Tiffani (Jonny) Hines, Trenton (Ashley) Wuensch and Tyson Wuensch, all of Wabash; Megann Wuensch, Kristin Wuensch and Taryn Wuensch, all of Huntington; and Trey Wuensch and Travis Wuensch, both of Andrews; and three great-grandchildren.

Calling is Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Rick Leone officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Andrews.
