Sister Carolyn Issenmann, OLVM, 96, a resident of Victory Noll, Huntington, IN, died Dec. 4, 2013, at Holy Family Health Care Center at Victory Noll, Huntington.
Sister Issenmann entered the congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on Oct. 28, 1942, and made first vows on Aug. 5, 1945. She served in the missions in Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Ohio, Michigan, California and Indiana. She returned to Victory Noll in 1989 to serve as archivist and in the print shop until she retired.
She was born Oct. 6, 1917, in Hamilton, OH to Edward and Christine Strasser Issenmann.
A vigil service will be held on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at 7 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Victory Noll Memorial Chapel, 1900 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Dec. 7, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the Mass at the Victory Noll Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Victory Noll cemetery.
