William E. Woenker

William E. Woenker, 80, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at The Towne House Retirement Center, in Fort Wayne.
Mr. Woenker was a co-founder of Chematics Inc. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Ege, Noble County.
He was born in Fort Wayne to Barney and Irene Woenker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes A. Woenker.
Survivors include four sons, Timothy (Tena) Woenker and Edward Woenker, both of Fort Wayne; Paul (Susan) Woenker, of Cary, IL; and John "Hans" (Jennifer) Woenker, of New Haven; two daughters, Julie (Mark) Lazerwitz, of Valparaiso, and Mary Anne (Paul) Bower, of West Lafayette; two brothers, Bernard Woenker, of Huntington, and John (Pat) Woenker, of Angola; and 16 grandchildren.
Calling is Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to Mass. Rev. Phillip A. Widmann will officiate. Burial will be at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
