Kathy A. Bunker, 65, of Huntington, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at 4:10 .m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Ms. Bunker graduated in 1966 from Huntington Township High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy. She was a member of the Huntington Church of Christ, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Monticello, Disabled American Veterans and Amvets, and a life member of American Legion Post 368 in Van Buren.
She was born Oct. 11, 1948, in Huntington to Jerald Eugene and Eileen Viola Smith Bunker.
Survivors include a son, Joe Neal Ferguson II, of Huntington; a brother, Jerald E. Bunker, of Valparaiso; and a sister, Carolyn S. Griffith, of Andrews.
Calling is Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a service following at 11 a.m., in the chapel at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne. Evangelist Scott Reece will officiate. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens.
Memorial gifts may be made to the American Lung Association, Riley Children's Hospital or the Huntington County Humane Society, all in care of Deal-Rice Funeral Home, 338 E. Washington St., Huntington, IN 46750.
