Barbara Joe Fisher, 57, of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at 7:06 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Fisher was a member of The Salvation Army, in Huntington.
She was born Dec. 19, 1956, in Huntington to William and Helen Walters Simmons. She married Mike Fisher on July 1, 1994, in Wells County. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include four sons, Charles (Dawn) Penn Jr., of Athens, MI; and David W. (Carla) Penn, Michael J. Huffman and Adam (Sherri) Fisher, all of Huntington; three daughters, Jasmin (Brandon) Taylor, of Roanoke, and Amy Fisher and Ashley (Michael) Grodrian, both of Andrews; two brothers, Ronald (Katie Geiger) Simmons, of Huntington, and David (Donna) Simmons, of Fort Wayne; a sister, Tammy (Leslie) Fernandes, of Hagerstown, MD; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Calling is Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, from 10 a.m. to noon, with a service following at noon, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Major Gerald Smelser will officiate.
