Nadine M. Moellering, 92, of Angola, IN, and having family members in Roanoke, IN, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at Lakeland Nursing Center, Angola.
Mrs. Moellering retired in 1979 as owner and operator of C&N Tire. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven, and American Legion Posts 296 and 330.
She was born in New Haven to John and Johanna Werling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, in 1973.
Survivors include two daughters, Candyss (Rex) Franklin, of Roanoke, and Patricia (Lewis) Clay, of Hamilton; a sister, Viola Bearman, of New Haven; two grandchildren, Jason (Wendy) Frank and Stephanie (Dustin) Applegate; a stepgranddaughter, Heather (Tony) Okuly; two great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Calling is Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Ind.-930E, New Haven. A service will be held on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church or Central Lutheran School.
