Margaret M. Street, 77, of Benbrook, TX, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014.
Mrs. Street was the proprietor of the family business, Crafts Unlimited. She and her husband were foster parents for many years. She moved to Texas in 2004.
She was born Dec. 21, 1936, in Philadelphia, PA, to Michael James and Marjorie Mae Brown Harron. She married Joseph Street on April 27, 1956, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Joanne (Gary) Street Hankins, of Benbrook, TX; Sarah Street, of Azle, TX; Beverly (Rick) Buzzard, of Lakeland, FL; and Kim Street, of Huntington; a son, Joseph (Jo Caskey) Street, of Venus, TX; a sister, Sally Harron Lees, of Cape May, NJ; two granddaughters, Samantha (Phillip Butler) Street and Margaret (Tayseer Jabar) Street; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., with a service following at 2 p.m., at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. Rev. Dale Bauman will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
