Karen Kay Neuenschwander, 53, of Bluffton, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at 5:36 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Neuenschwander was employed by McHenry Manufacturing, in Bluffton, and had previously worked at Fleetwood, in Decatur, for 21 years.
She was born April 15, 1960, in Huntington, and was preceded in death by her mother, Mary E. Douglas Heck. She married Kenneth W. Neuenschwander on April 30, 1988, in Warren, and he survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Rickie Dean (Amy) Douglas, of Bluffton, and Nicholas (Beth) Neuenschwander, of Roanoke; two daughters, Katie Lynn (Jackson Truex) Neuenschwander, of Vera Cruz, and Ashley (Daniel) Cole, of Houston, TX; a brother, Don (Jeri) Douglas, of Warren; a sister, Michelle Runyan, of Huntington; and a grandson, Ryder Dean Douglas.
Calling is Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, in Bluffton. A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Larry Sprinkle will officiate.
