Nora A. Fearnow, 94, of Wabash, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at 10:16 p.m. at Miller's Merry Manor East, in Wabash.
Mrs. Fearnow worked at A.F. Billings in Wabash for 10 years and retired from the Old Dutch Dairy Store, in Wabash. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, in Lagro.
She was born Oct. 15, 1919, in Wabash County to Oliver Raymond and Mary Hodson Brown. She married Raymond C. Fearnow Sr. on Feb. 14, 1938, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, in Lagro. He preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 2005.
Survivors include three sons, Phillip (Judy) Fearnow, of Marion; Raymond C. (Rose) Fearnow Jr., of Columbia City; and John Steven (Nancy) Fearnow, of Roann; a daughter, Camilla R. Fearnow, of Huntington; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Calling is Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m., at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. A service will be held on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 188 W. Sinclair St., Wabash. Rev. Sextus Don will officiate. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, in Lagro.
