James C. McCarver, 74, of Warren, IN, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at 11:01 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Mr. McCarver was plant manager at Wayne Metal in Markle. He retired from Lime City in Marion, where he was a plant manager. He was an owner-operator of a metal polishing shop in Markle. He was a member at Healing Waters Ministries in Majenica.
He was born Sept. 4, 1939, in Scottsboro, AL, to Jess and Rhoda Bass McCarver. He married Faye Kilgore on June 7, 2009, in Huntington, and she survives.
Additional survivors are two sons, Gary McCarver, of Huntington, and Trent (Christy) McCarver, of Warren; two daughters, Lisa (Danny) Burns and Angie Hamilton, both of Warren; a sister, Marie Oswalt, of Warren; two brothers, Londa McCarver, of Brownsville, AL, and Jimmy (Debbie) McCarver, of Smithville, NC; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Calling is Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, from 1 p.m. to until the 2 p.m. funeral service at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. Rev. Wayne Couch will officiate. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
