Theodore C. Brandt

Theodore C. Brandt, 90, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at Woodview Assisting Living, in Fort Wayne.
Mr. Brandt served in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked as a train dispatcher for 42 years, retiring from Conrail in 1985. He was a member of Waynedale Masonic Lodge 739, Fort Wayne Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine, Trinity Chapter 576 Order of the Eastern Star and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Logansport.
He was born in Logansport to Claude and Martha Knight Brandt. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Brandt.
Additional survivors include a son, Stuart S. (Cindy) Brandt, of Carmel; three daughters, Linda L. (Sidney) Lakes, of Huntington; Martha L. (Patrick) Bash, of Las Vegas, NV; and Mary Jo (Richard) Dussel, of Cassopolis, MI; a stepson, Kelly (Beth) Clevenger, of Fort Wayne; a stepdaughter, Candance Fifer, of Delray Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Saturday, March 1, 2014, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with a Masonic service at 2:45 p.m., at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd., Fort Wayne. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m., with Rev. Steven K. Conner officiating. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
