Dorothy J. Bingham

Dorothy Jean Bingham, 58, of Butler, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Friday, Feb. 28, 2014.

Mrs. Bingham worked as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) at the United Methodist Memorial Home, in Warren, for 10 years and at The Laurels of DeKalb, in Butler, for two years. She was a member of the Butler Church of Christ and the It's Sew Easy Quilt Club, in Butler.

She was born Nov. 5, 1955, in Peru to David Paul and Evelyn Dolores Kellems Todd. Her mother survives in Derby. She married Bernard Roy "Bernie" Bingham on April 2, 1989, in Huntington. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include two sons, Stewart (Melissa) Chubbuck, of Huntington, and Dennis Bingham, of Butler; five daughters, Wendy (Brian) Marley, of Marion; Tina (Andy) Brandon and Amanda (Josh) Burris, both of Fremont, OH; and Triciana Bingham and Jillian Bingham, both of Butler; three brothers, Charles Todd, of Aspers, PA; Jim Todd, of Arizona; and Greg Todd, of Fort Wayne; a sister, Joy Cole, of Hillsdale, MI; and eight grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, March 4, 2013, from noon to 2 p.m., with a service following at 2 p.m., at the Butler Church of Christ. Burial will be at the Butler Cemetery.
