Sister Mary Paula Fortier, OLVM

Sister Mary Paula Fortier, OLVM, 94, a resident of Victory Noll, Huntington, IN, died on March 5, 2014, at Holy Family Health Care Center at Victory Noll, Huntington.
Sister Fortier entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on Oct. 27, 1945, and made first vows on Aug. 5, 1948. She served in the missions in Utah, Nevada, California, Michigan, Arizona, Missouri, Texas, Illinois and Indiana. She ministered locally with Love INC and Habitat for Humanity. She retired in 1997 and volunteered in the membership office and print shop.
She was born July 17, 1919, in New Castle to John and Sophie Doucet Fortier.
A vigil service will be held Sunday, March 9, 2014, at 7 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service at Victory Noll Memorial Chapel, 1900 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Mass of the Resurrection will be Monday, March 10, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., at the chapel, with calling one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be at Victory Noll Cemetery, Huntington.
