Patricia 'Pat' Maves

Patricia "Pat" Maves, 82, a former resident of Hartford City, IN, died Monday, March 10, 2014, at 10:05 p.m. at Heritage Pointe, in Warren.
Mrs. Maves was retired from 3M Company, where she had worked in personnel and payroll for 18 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), in Hartford City, and its Church Women Fellowship.
She was born Jan. 15, 1932, in Dunkirk to William O. and Della F. Stran Reed. She marred Ronald "Ron" S. Maves on Jan. 5, 1979, in Hartford City. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2005.
Survivors include four sons, Robert J. (Beverly) Roberts, of Montpelier; D. Craig (Rhonda) Roberts, of Noblesville; Phillip L. (Anne) Roberts, of Sumter, SC; and W. Eric "Ric" (Deborah Ocepek) Roberts, of LaGrange, IL; two stepsons, Dr. Steve S. (Laura) Maves, of Fishers, and Scott S. (Connie) Maves, of Salt Lake City, UT; a brother, Paul William Reed, of Silver Lake; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and five stepgrandchildren.
Calling is Saturday, March 15, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., with a service following at 4 p.m., at the First Christian Church, 500 N. High St., Hartford City. Interment will be at a later date at the Hartford City Cemetery.
