Eula Belle Farr, 86, of Van Buren, IN, and having ties to Warren, IN, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at 7:45 p.m.
Mrs. Farr, a lifelong resident of the Van Buren area, graduated from Van Buren High School in 1945. She had been employed at Heritage Pointe, in Warren, retiring in 1994. She was a member of the Van Buren United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 368 Auxiliary, in Van Buren.
She was born Dec. 28, 1927, to Harry G. and Elizabeth Mosby Witmer. She married Franklin S. Farr on July 5, 1945, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 1975.
Survivors include two sons, Delmer (Dana) Farr, of Belvedere, IL, and Darrell (Sherry) Farr Sr., of Citrus Heights, CA; a daughter, Dara Farr, of Detroit, MI; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Calling is Friday, March 21, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. a Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Van Buren. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Leon Pomeroy officiating. Interment will be at the Van Buren Cemetery, in Van Buren.
