Jerrell A. ‘Jerry’ Glendenning

Jerrell A. "Jerry" Glendenning, 80, of Columbus, IN, and a native of Huntington County, IN, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 9:25 a.m. at Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis.
Mrs. Glendenning was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She was born March 21, 1934, in Huntington County to James K. and Meriam G. Kocher Thorne. She married Don Glendenning on Feb. 1, 1953. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Thea Linneweber and Barb Glendenning, both of Columbus; two grandsons, Ryan (Lyndsey) Linneweber, of Columbus, and Greg (Jessica) Linneweber, of Noblesville; and three great-grandchildren.
A service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, Columbus, with Rev. Chris Lantz officiating. Additional calling is Friday, March 28, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Etna Cemetery, in Mt. Etna, on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 2:30 p.m.
