Alice C. Alspach, 90, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, April 11, 2014, at 3:35 a.m. at Markle Health and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Alspach retired from Magnetek in Huntington in 1988. She attended Salvation Army Church in Huntington.
She was born Aug. 23, 1923, in Fort Wayne to Claude and Lillian Hocker Cannon. She married Robert A. Alspach on Nov. 20, 1941. He preceded her in death on April 9, 1998.
Survivors include a son, Robert L. (Janell) Alspach, of Huntington; a daughter, Kay J. (Jim) Voigt, of LaGrange; a sister, Rosemary Burley, of Markle; seven grandchildren, Darla D. Kingery and Robert Andrew Alspach, both of Huntington; Heather H. Kauffman, of Roanoke, and Paul Voigt, Jason Voigt, Michael Voigt and Jennifer Manning, all of Fort Wayne; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Monday, April 14, 2014, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with calling one hour prior to the service. Maj. Gerald Smelser will officiate. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, in Huntington County.
