James L. Jamison

James Leonard Jamison, 82, of Warren, IN, died Friday, April 18, 2014, at 10:37 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Jamison retired from General Motors, in Marion. He was a member of the Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene, in Warren, and had been active in the Warren Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.

He was born Sept. 9, 1931, in Wells County to Revi W. and Mary M. Gaiser Jamison. He married Helen R. Jamison on Feb. 15, 1957, in Huntington County, and she preceded him in death on Jan. 22, 2012.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane (Rick) Reynolds, of Warren; four sons, Gary (Rochelle) Jamison and Jimmy A. Jamison, both of Bluffton; Michael D. (Amy) Jamison, of Phoenix, AZ; and Barry W. Jamison, of Warren; a daughter, Diane (Rick) Reynolds, of Warren; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Calling is Thursday, April 24, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at the Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene, 406 E. 1st St., Warren. Rev. Mark Davis will officiate. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Warren.
