Betty J. Bradley, 91, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at 12:43 p.m. at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Mrs. Bradley graduated from Wabash High School in 1941. She had been employed as a bookkeeper with Frances Slocum Bank and was a member of College Park United Brethren Church.
She was born Aug. 24, 1922, in Wabash to Harvey M. and Beulah M. Eakright Fry. She married Harry G. Bradley on July 18, 1941, in Wabash, and he survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Michael E. Bradley, of Huntington; three sisters, Joan Bradley and Mary Wright, both of Wabash, and Nancy (Harold) Christie, of Urbana; a brother, Sam Fry, of Wabash; five grandchildren, Rob (Georgia) Strickler, Rod (Edna) Strickler, Bryan Strickler, Anita (George) Pape and Zak (Stephanie) Strickler; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Calling is Sunday, July 13, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Deal-Rice Funeral Home Huntington Chapel. A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 14, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Gary Dilley will officiate. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, Wabash.
