Elaine M. Pepper

Elaine M. Pepper, 90, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a former resident of Andrews, IN, died Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital, in Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Pepper was born Oct. 11, 1923, in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, to Robert Albert and Marjorie MaryEllen Blackstone Godley. She married William S. "Bill" Pepper on July 4, 1942, in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1998.

Survivors include four daughters, Terry (Steven) Dudley, of Muncie; Sue Pepper and Dawn Pepper, both of Fort Wayne; and Jane (John) Wasmuth, of Columbia City; a son, William (Rebecca) Pepper, of Andrews; two brothers, Donald George (Anna) Godley, of Clinton, Ontario, and Jack Terry (Fran) Godley, of Sarasota, FL.; seven grandchildren, David (Sherry) Dudley, of Muncie; James (Katie) Dudley, of New Mexico; Gwendolyn (Joe) Wimmer, of North Manchester; Geoffrey Pepper, of Anderson; Richard (Natalia) Pepper, of Kansas; Diana (Alan) Clark, of Syracuse; and Mark (Myrl) Wasmuth, of Indianapolis; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, July 15, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Deal-Rice Funeral Home, Andrews Chapel. A service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at 1 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Misty-Dawn Shelley will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, in Andrews.
