Druschel C. Mullins, of Huntington, IN, died July 25, 2014, at 11:45 p.m. at his residence.
Mr. Mullins graduated from Dilce Comb High School in 1942. He served in the United States Army. Prior to moving to Indiana in 1963, he worked as a coal miner. He was a sheet metal worker at Majestic in Huntington and Lock Steel and Chain. He was a member of the Gethsemane Ministries Church, Huntington, and sang in the Old Friends Gospel Group at the church.
Mr. Mullins was born Dec. 27, 1927, in Scuddy, KY, to Everett and Nancy Blair Mullins. He married Addie Combs on Dec. 10, 1949. She survives.
Additional survivors are two sons, Jeffrey (Dawn) Mullins, of Roanoke, and Ronald G. (Martha "Mert") Mullins, of Huntington, IN; a daughter, Nancy (Mike) Schacht, of Huntington; one sister-in-law, Polly Ann Mullins, of London, KY; seven grandchildren. 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Calling is Tuesday, July 29, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Gethsemane Ministries Church, 2239 Hartman St., Huntington. A funeral service will be Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at 1 p.m., with one hour of calling before, at the church, with Worley Newsome and Elzie Spencer officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Andrews.
