Larry D. Mygrant

Larry D. Mygrant, 77, of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at 9:25 p.m. at his home,

Mr. Mygrant retired from Conrail as a locomotive engineer in 1998. He had a combined 34 years of service with Conrail and Erie-Lackawanna. He was a member of the Briant Street Church of God.

He was born July 9, 1937, in Huntington to Donald L. and Nina Vergon Mygrant. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Amanda Sue Mygrant. He married Ethel Harris on June 21, 1997, in Huntington, and she survives.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Renee Mygrant Harris, of Huntington; two sons, Randy D. Mygrant, of Huntington, and Rodney D. (Shannon) Mygrant, of Uniondale; a stepdaughter, Melissa (Robert) Carmichael, of Andrews; a stepson, Terry (Marilee) Wires, of Cromwell; a sister, Anna Jane (Dick) Homier, of Huntington; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, from 10 a.m. to noon, with a service following at noon, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Rev. Don Louth and Rev. Rolla Blair will officiate. Those unable to attend may view the service on the Bailey-Love Mortuary channel at www.livestream.com. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
