Margaret A. Henry, 86, of Wabash, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Henry retired from the Wabash Plain Dealer. She volunteered at the First Christian Church, in Marion, and had been active in Delta Theta Tau Sorority. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Women’s Club of Wabash, three bridge clubs and the Birthday Club.
She was born in Marion to Gordon and Georgia Wiltsie Hendey. She married Kenneth Henry on Jan. 25, 1945, and he preceded her in death on March 31, 2007.
Survivors include three sons, Mike (Ginny) Henry, of Muskegon, MI; Jeff (Mindy) Henry, of Indianapolis; and Patrick Henry, of Wabash; seven grandchildren, Brett (Nancy) Henry, McKenzie (Everett) Paschal and Molly Henry, all of Indianapolis; Shane (Tom) Hadley, of Carmel; Blake (Traci) Henry, of Auburn, AL; Maren (Patrick) Kennedy, of Columbus, OH; and Matthew (Belinda Shock) Henry, of Huntington; and seven great-grandchildren.
A service will be held Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion. Calling is Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Estates of Serenity, in Marion.
